# ZALORA listings, on a model in the studio.

ZALORA asks for product images on a white to light grey background, rejects outdoor and busy backgrounds, and its quality control also judges model selection, poses and make-up. Virtual try-on dresses a studio model in a garment from a hanger or flat-lay photo, against studio white or grey, with a neutral expression by default.

## What ZALORA's quality control looks at.

1. ### White to light grey, never outdoors

ZALORA allows white to light grey and lists outdoor and loud backgrounds among its rejection reasons. Use studio white or studio grey for every ZALORA image and keep the location and lifestyle settings for the brand's own channels: a city street or a café terrace would not pass quality control.
2. ### Model selection and pose

ZALORA's rejection reasons include poor model selection, inappropriate poses and make-up. Choose a model whose age range and styling suit the brand, keep the expression neutral, and prefer standing, three-quarter and walking poses to sitting or leaning, which hide more of the garment.
3. ### An upright size of its own

ZALORA gives one upright image size whose shape is narrower than three by four, Herofab's portrait shape. Each image is therefore fitted to ZALORA's size before upload; a model framed with space on both sides keeps sleeves and hem whole when that happens.

## What ZALORA asks for.

- **Size:** 762 × 1,100 pixels; images outside these dimensions are listed as a rejection reason and appear distorted on the website and apps
- **Aspect ratio:** 0.69 : 1; the Philippines Seller Center calls 762 × 1,100 pixels the recommended size and allows larger images as long as this ratio is kept
- **Resolution:** 300 dpi (Philippines Seller Center)
- **File size:** Less than 2 MB (Philippines Seller Center)
- **Background:** White to light grey; images with outdoor backgrounds are not allowed
- **Main image:** The first image must not have an outdoor setting or a busy background
- **Not allowed:** Pixelated or blurred images, loud or distracting backgrounds, repeated images, irrelevant watermarks or scribbles in the background, and extra images showing unrelated products
- **Models:** Images can be rejected for poor model selection (age, expressions, presentation) or inappropriate model poses or make-up
- **Product angles:** The product must be angled and displayed clearly; a missing product angle image is a rejection reason
- **Review:** Every new or edited image goes through quality control before going live; the Seller Center quotes 24–48 hours on a business day for QC processing and 2–5 business days for edited products
- **Watermarks:** The Philippines Seller Center asks for images focused on the product, with no watermarks or other details

## The garment photo for a ZALORA upload.

- Photograph the whole garment straight on, flat or on a hanger, collar to hem; a part that is cut off in the photo cannot be added back faithfully.
- Photograph every colour of a style in the same position and the same light, since each new or edited image goes through ZALORA's quality control.
- Add a back photo and a close-up of the trims: a missing product angle is a rejection reason, and the back view and the detail supply further angles.

**Does ZALORA accept AI-generated images?**

The ZALORA Seller Center pages behind this page do not mention AI-generated images either way. A seller planning to list on-model images made with Herofab confirms it with ZALORA first. The models are synthetic, not photographed people, and every Herofab image carries a machine-readable AI marker in the file.

**How is a three-by-four image brought to ZALORA's size?**

The free ZALORA image resizer fits each image inside ZALORA's size and pads it with white or light grey, both backgrounds ZALORA allows, so nothing is cut. It runs in the browser and nothing is uploaded. A model framed with some space around the garment gives the cleanest result.

**Which download suits ZALORA's file limit?**

The JPG. ZALORA's Philippines Seller Center asks for files under its size limit, and a 2K PNG can weigh more than that. A JPG at ZALORA's dimensions is the safer file; look at the weight of each file before the upload all the same.

**How much does it cost?**

5 credits per image, plus one credit for 4K. In US dollars that is $0.20 to $0.60 per image before tax, from the largest plan to the smallest credit pack. The cost is shown before you generate, and if a job fails the credits are returned. The 20 free credits at sign-up cover 4 images with this tool.
