**What size is the image after resizing to 16:9?**

It depends on the photo: its pixels stay and padding is added until the shape is 16:9. A 4,032 × 3,024 px phone photo becomes 5,376 × 3,024 px, with 672 px of padding on the left and 672 px on the right.

**Is the photo scaled or cropped when resizing to 16:9?**

Neither. The photo keeps every pixel at its original size and the padding colour fills the added area, so the whole product stays in frame and a small photo is not blurred by enlarging.
